Privacy Policy for Skeyti

This Privacy Policy describes how Webtastic LLC ("Webtastic," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Skeyti application (the "App").

Skeyti has two kinds of people who interact with it, and we collect very different amounts of information from each:

• Senders — people who record and send clips. Senders create a lightweight account using Sign in with Apple.
• Recipients — people who receive and watch a shared clip. Recipients never create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use Skeyti.

1. Information We Collect

From senders:

• Sign in with Apple. When you create a Skeyti account, Apple provides us with a unique, persistent identifier for your account and, depending on your choice, your name and an email address (which may be an Apple-generated private relay address rather than your real one). We never receive your Apple ID password, and we have no access to any other data in your Apple Account.
• Video content you send. The clips you record, plus basic metadata like when a clip was created and, once viewed, when it was first watched.

From recipients:

• Recipients provide us with no personal information. Watching a shared clip requires no account, login, or data entry of any kind.

From anyone visiting our servers (senders and recipients alike):

• Standard technical logs. Like virtually any web service, our hosting providers (Section 3) automatically log basic technical information — IP address, timestamps, device/browser type — as part of normal server operation and security monitoring. This is routine infrastructure logging, not behavioral tracking or profile-building.

We do not collect:

• Precise or coarse location data
• Contacts, photos, or any data beyond the clip you choose to record and send
• Anything through third-party advertising or analytics SDKs — Skeyti doesn't include any

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate Skeyti's core function: recording a clip, generating a shareable link, and letting the intended recipient(s) view it.
• To identify your account so clips you send are attributed to you, and so we can act on abuse reports or deletion requests.
• To keep the App reliable and secure, using diagnostics as described in Section 6.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build behavioral profiles for personalization.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share information only with the service providers that run Skeyti's infrastructure, each processing data on our behalf:

• Apple — Sign in with Apple authentication, and crash/performance diagnostics (Section 6)
• Supabase — our database and file storage provider; stores account records and video files
• Vercel — our hosting provider; serves the App's backend and the web pages recipients use to view clips

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of our users or the public.

4. Data Security and Retention

Skeyti is built to hold onto as little as possible, for as short a time as possible:

• Video clips are ephemeral by design. A clip is automatically deleted shortly after it's first watched, and in any case no later than 4 days after it was sent — whichever comes first — regardless of whether it was ever viewed.
• Shared links are unguessable and non-indexed. Each clip's link uses a random identifier that can't be guessed from another clip's link, and every shared page blocks search engine indexing.
• Account data (your Apple-provided identifier, and any clips you've sent that haven't yet expired) is retained for as long as your account exists, and deleted if you delete your account (Section 5).

5. Your Data Rights and Choices

• Account deletion. You can delete your Skeyti account and associated data directly within the App, in Settings. Deleting your account removes your sender record and any clips you've sent that haven't already expired.
• Access or correction requests. For anything not covered by in-app account deletion, contact us at [email protected].
• Recipients: since recipients never create an account or provide personal information, there's no recipient profile to access, correct, or delete — a shared clip simply expires on its own (Section 4).
• Revoking Sign in with Apple. You can review or revoke Skeyti's access at any time in your Apple Account settings, under Sign in with Apple.

6. Crash Reporting & Diagnostics

Skeyti uses only Apple's own built-in diagnostic tools — we do not integrate any third-party crash reporting or analytics SDK. If you've opted in to "Share With App Developers" under iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple shares aggregated crash and performance data with us through Xcode/App Store Connect. This is governed by Apple's own privacy practices, and can be turned off at any time in that same Settings menu.

7. Children's Privacy

Skeyti is not intended for use by children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Sending a clip requires Sign in with Apple, so sending is governed by Apple's own age requirements for Apple Accounts. Recipients — including children — can watch a shared clip without providing us any personal information at all.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post any changes here and update the Effective Date above.
